OMGosh I LOVE this picture. I had to call hubby to see it, too. We fell truly and madly in love with Doxie's when we visited our Arizona son. Their oldest daughter has one and she is such a happy, sweet dog! Her name is Roxy.
I have to tell you a little stoyr about her. The first morning we were there I made a run out to the car and was sure I closed the door so she could not come out, but after I had been in for a few minutes, I realized I had not seen Roxy. Believe me when I say I panicked! My heart was in my throat as I looked high and low for her. I got hubby in the search and he got his hat and coat on and went out looking for her. No Roxy. With a heavy heart and very nervous, too, I called my daughter in law at work. To my amazement she laughed when she heard what a panic we were in. She asked if I had looked on the chair by the window, the one with a throw on it. I said no with a question in my voice. She said to go and look. I did and there was Roxy all curled up completely hidden among the folds. I nearly fainted from relief! Every morning after we were up and everyone else off to school or work, that is where she went for her morning snooze! They are burrowers by nature and neither Tom nor I thought of her burrowing into a blanket....

I began a little Christmas decorating on the porch and am off to find some LED lights to keep the bill down. Just a string of icicle lights on the porch for one month adds $60.00! I hope they have that style in the LED's. Can you imagine the bills of these homes that have lights everywhere???
